CTS Romania lifts 22.8m dome

Earlier this week, the dedicated team from CTS Romania successfully lifted an aluminium dome roof onto OMV Petrom tank T101 at the Petrobrazi refinery in Romania, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing upgrade program for the OMV Petrom tank farm. The impressive lifting operation commenced at noon and was completed within just 90 minutes, with the load being fully released from the crane promptly and safely. To achieve this precision lift, a powerful 200-ton mobile crane was utilized, ensuring maximum safety and efficiency throughout the process.

This aluminium dome roof is part of a series of high-quality domes supplied by CTS Global to the OMV Petrom Petrobrazi refinery, underscoring our commitment to delivering innovative storage tank solutions that meet the industry’s most stringent environmental and safety standards. The project was executed in close collaboration with Confind, OMV Petrom, and Felbermayr Romania, reflecting the exceptional teamwork and expertise of all parties involved.
