Proactively identifying leaks

Proactively identifying leaks is essential in averting future emissions. CTS specializes in conducting comprehensive API/EEMUA-based inspections for in-service and out-of-service storage tanks, catering to an extensive range of tank types.

Visual assessment

At the heart of our inspection process lies a commitment to visual assessment, which we consider the most trustworthy method for evaluating the Tank’s attachments and roofs. Our methodology incorporates advanced FLIR cameras to meticulously monitor gas emissions from the roofs and seals of tanks. This technology enables us to provide photo evidence to our clients to thoroughly evaluate the integrity and performance of their seals and Internal floating roofs.

Even storage tanks that are presumed to be in good condition, by frequently undergoing a scheduled maintenance moment, can still show leaks while using this equipment. By providing this critical insight, it becomes possible to take timely action, further limiting environmental emissions.

Meet all requirements

We have instituted the Best Available Techniques (BAT) and the Tank Improvement Program (TIP) as integral components of our on-site Tank inspections. These programs are meticulously tailored to meet our client’s unique needs and requirements.

Our experienced team of qualified inspectors can provide detailed inspection reports in accordance with API 650/653/EEMUA standards, for various tanks and their attachments, including internal floating roofs, rim seals, roof drainage systems, and dome roofs. During our 30 years of expertise, we have written a comprehensive inspection checklist. These checklists adhere to current industrial practices and fully comply with API 650/653 inspection criteria, ensuring thorough and reliable evaluations are possible with the data resulting from them.
